Crispy, Saucy, and Seriously Craveable:

Chase the Crunch

Some dishes earn their reputation one bite at a time. At Audrey, the fryer is where the day begins: chicken drumsticks tumble out golden and shattering, shrimp goes in under a light tempura coat, and the batter stays crisp long enough to survive the drive home. Then comes the sauce — bright citrus peel for Orange Chicken, a darker sweet-heat glaze for General Tso's — brushed on at the last second so the crust never softens. Order eight drumsticks with fries and you have the house's loudest plate; order Shrimp with Broccoli and you get the same crunch with something green alongside. Crisp is not a step here. It is the point.

The Perfect Partner:

Small Plates That Pull Their Weight

A rice bowl is the headline, but the supporting cast is why regulars keep ordering the same way twice. Chicken wontons arrive swimming in red chili oil, ten to an order, slippery and warm. Pan-fried dumplings are folded by hand, eight to a tray, crisp on the bottom and tender on top. Hot and sour soup cuts through anything fried; wonton soup soothes it. The pork sandwich — braised until it falls apart, then tucked into a soft baked bun — travels better than almost anything else on the menu. Add fries, a soda and a combo price, and lunch lands under fifteen dollars without ever feeling like a compromise.
